We are very aware of what can often times be an uncomfortable first time church attendance. Therefore, we would like to answer some questions you might have the first time you visit with us.
How should I dress?
Comfortably. If a tie suits you throw on a tie. If you would be more at ease in a t-shirt and shorts then come in the shorts. Just show up and make yourself comfortable.
Is there a nursery for my children?
Absolutely. Every Sunday morning child care is provided so just drop your child off with our loving nursery workers, pick up a wireless pager, and enjoy an energetic time of worship without worrying about the safety of your children.
What is the music like?
Generally the music of our band is lively and up-tempo in the beginning but softens for more passionate worship as the service progresses. The worship style is blended with a bent towards contemporary, and occasionally we will have an acoustic time of worship through music. The music of ECCC always combines the great hymns from church history with the tremendous worship anthems of today.
Is there any food?
After a song or two from the worship band we break for a seven minute time of donuts, coffee, and fellowship. If you are health conscious have no fear - we usually have granola bars and orange juice as well. This brief time in between songs is the perfect opportunity for us to get to know you and for you to feel more comfortable with the people you are worshipping with.
Extremely Biblical, energetic, and engaging. Pastor Don consistently endeavors to remain true to the Word of God, while presenting the truth with enthusiasm and relevancy. We stand firm on Scripture, naming sin for what it is, and our approach is laced in genuine love and compassion. If you come spiritually hungry you will find something good to chew on from the teaching of God's Word. If you usually have a hard time paying attention in church don't worry...the messages are extremely engaging and communicated with great passion.
The Lord's Supper is shared by the congregation on the first Sunday every month. All who profess faith in Christ Jesus are warmly welcome to participate.
